Letters, formal notices, expert reports, judgments: Ts-Knowledge indexes them along their natural structure, extracts parties, courts and events, and places French law right alongside — as it stood on the date of the facts. Your AI searches it all, without ever crossing the wall around a case.
Among two hundred other cases, the Vasselin law firm is handling SCI Les Tilleuls v. Bâtiloire, a building contractor: a leaking terrace, an expert assessment, a formal notice, a judgment. Three pitfalls come up in every case.
How it's organized
Each case is a space: its documents, its permissions, its knowledge. Nothing connects two cases — not a search, not an entity, not a key that hasn't been given access to both. French law, meanwhile, doesn't need to be imported anywhere.
Formal notice, expert report, acceptance report, judgment, email exchanges. One space, with its own members and its own keys — no one else's.
Each in its own space. A search started in one never surfaces a document from another, and an ID typed in by hand opens nothing.
Consolidated codes and statutes from Légifrance — the official French legal database — as a shared library: read-only, by subscription, and kept up to date by the platform.
Several hundred thousand articles, indexed once by the platform and updated from the daily publications of the DILA, the French government's legal publishing office. You add it to your subscription from the catalog, and it's readable right away, alongside your cases.
Every article carries its effective and repeal dates. A dated search returns the wording that applied on that day — never two competing versions of the same article.
1 · Find
A letter doesn't read like a code, and a judgment doesn't read like an expert report. Each type of document gets its own splitting, so that every excerpt stands on its own — and can be cited.
A short letter stays whole: demand, deadline and consequence in the same excerpt. A long letter keeps its subject, date, sender and recipient as context for every paragraph.
Cited by section, full path included: “4. Defects › 4.2 Terrace”. A report without headings falls back to its paragraphs, with no invented sections.
Recitals, grounds, operative part. The operative part never shares an excerpt with the grounds: an argument the court rejects never reads as its ruling.
Hybrid search combines meaning and exact wording: an article number, a party's name or a document reference finds its passage just as well as a question in everyday language.
2 · Understand
With the “Legal” template, Ts-Knowledge reads a case's documents and extracts what they assert: who the parties are, who represents whom, which court is hearing the case, which instruments were signed, which events took place — each tied to the document, page and sentence that establish it.
Individuals and legal entities, their role in the case, their addresses and registration numbers — with the document that mentions them.
Party to, represents, opposes, judged by: who stands against whom, and before which court.
Signing, formal notice, hearing, judgment, payment: the case's events in order, each with its document.
Two documents that give the same company two different registration numbers are flagged, ranked by severity, and never settled for you.
Rebuilt from the documents, with no re-keying. Each line points back to the passage that proves it: at a hearing, you know where every date comes from.
A case file contains many amounts, and that's normal: the legal vocabulary accepts several of them. Declare a “claimed amount” dimension with a single value, and two documents that don't claim the same sum get flagged.
The Knowledge Snowflake
The Knowledge Snowflake arranges a project into facets, based on a profile: today there is one for fiction series and one for e-commerce. There isn't one yet for a legal case, and we'd rather say so than show you a map that doesn't exist.
The graph of its parties, documents and courts, plus its timeline. Your agent can also ask for a case's map: without a profile, it returns that graph, without facets.
If you manage the rules of an online store — terms of sale, return policy, commitments to customers — the “E-commerce” profile already arranges rules, decisions and partners into a Snowflake, department by department. See the e-commerce use case
3 · Connect
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Mistral connect over MCP with a key that only sees the spaces you open to it: one case, and the French law library. Your AI searches, verifies, then writes — citing every document.
